Liberal

Don't get too comfortable being a liberal, because just as soon as you've baked all of your liberal ideas into a well-defined, cohesive layer cake, you'll find that the radical generation following you has already surpassed your liberalism with reckless disregard for the socially conscious perspective you have toiled to form over all these years. What a waste of time being liberal! It is possible to live a good, well-reasoned life without labeling yourself, without jumping into the ziploc baggy of liberalism, only to find it perforated and full of rotten attitudes, and moldy notions.

It only takes 20 years for a liberal to become a conservative without changing a single idea.
